º1983, Antwerp.

It started with an old Rolleiflex camera. At the age of 16, my father considered me old enough to take his precious camera with me on a schooltrip. While having fun experimenting and charming the girls with an antique camera, it was the sound of the shutter that triggered me. The sliding shutter had an addictive effect, like an adrenaline shot that made me crave for more. And then some more.
When I finished my communication studies the hunger for exposed film remained. So I studied photography and in 2008, became a freelance photographer. Whether I’m on a set, in a studio, or observing the real world, it’s the ability to tell a story that makes me happy, day after day.
